It’s always a privilege to be out and about in our community and, it was great to hear the success story of local company, iShine Cleaning Services. I also visited Church of St Michael and learnt more about our Church Tower Appeal.
Bromsgrove’s Beer festival this year hosted nearly 3,000 visitors and raised over £650 for Parkinson’s UK. It was a pleasure to attend the festival and I’d like to commend the organisers for all their efforts in hosting such an excellent event – well done!
Almost a fortnight has passed since the recent Grenfell Tower, but the shock has not subsided. I’ve visited the victims in Kensington and witnessed the terrible anguish of those who have lost so much – in some cases, people will have lost literally everything.
I’d like to assure you this Government is doing all we can to help the victims of this tragic event. It’s important that we continue providing assistance to those affected, and take every precaution to make sure we do not see a repeat of this harrowing event.
It’s clear that this failure must be understood; it must be rectified without delay, and the government is determined to ensure that happens.
