Following a busy week in parliament, it’s always a pleasure to be out and about in Bromsgrove hearing from local community members. As always, the Bromsgrove Festival has been great and I commend the organisers on a wonderful event that is brightening up our town. The festival is taking place until 23rd July – if you haven’t been already, you have a few days left to go!
Last week I was lucky enough to visit Fairfield First School to give my best wishes to the hugely popular and inspirational teacher, Linda Jones, who is retiring after 38 years. I hope you’ll join me in congratulating Linda for all her successes and wishing her all the best for the future.
The beginning of July marks Scams Awareness Month. It’s important that we remain vigilant online, do more to tackle cyber scams, and teach our children to remain safe in the digital world.
Finally, as schools begin to break out for the Summer Holidays, I’d like to wish all students a fantastic holiday. For all students expecting exam results, I also wish you the best of luck.
