I KNOW many readers will be looking forward to spending Christmas with their friends and family.
In Bromsgrove District, we will share this occasion with the Ukrainian families who have joined us this year.
Many of the challenges we face are due to the abhorrent invasion of their country and over this festive period, their courageous fight will not be far from our thoughts.
Sadly, this year marked the passing of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. She was an inspiration to us all, and her lifetime of service will always be remembered.
It was an honour to represent my constituents in Parliament in paying tribute to her life – and to our new sovereign, King Charles III.
In Westminster, our new Prime Minister is working to restore economic stability and govern in the national interest. I know he is committed to tackling the challenges we face – particularly the cost of living. There will be difficult times ahead, but I always stand ready to support my constituents should they need my help.
I wish all of my constituents and Bromsgrove Standard readers a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
