TIME is running out for children across the district to enter the annual Christmas card design competition being run by Bromsgrove MP Sajid Javid.
Entries close at 5pm this Friday, November 11, and Mr Javid is hoping as many first, primary and middle school students submit their designs.
The Bromsgrove MP is requesting festive pictures to be drawn on a piece of paper no larger than A4.
The winning card will be sent to His Majesty The King and Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, as well as many other MPs and dignitaries.
Many entries have already been submitted by children from schools across Bromsgrove District but ahead of the Friday’s deadline, the MP is issuing a final call for submissions.
Anyone who wants to enter should send their design, along with their first name, age and school name on the back of your artwork, to Sajid Javid MP, c/o Allan Morris Estate Agents, 18 High Street, Bromsgrove, B61 8HQ.
Mr Javid said: “I am delighted that my annual Bromsgrove District Christmas Card Competition is receiving so many entries.
“However, with just days to go, I want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to send in their design!”
“It has been great to see so much creativity and talent demonstrated in the past through this competition, and I look forward to seeing all of this year’s entries.”
