HAPPY New Year to the readers of the Bromsgrove Standard!
I hope you all had a restful and joyous break with loved ones and that you are ready to take on the challenges and opportunities that 2023 may present.
2022 was – understandably – a difficult year for many, however I am confident that 2023 will present brighter days.

I would encourage people reading this to reflect on the horrors that occurred and ensure they do not forget the atrocities that were carried out.
Locally, I was fortunate enough to visit St John’s Middle last month for a Q&A session. I always enjoy visiting the fantastic schools that we have in Bromsgrove!
I was sorry to read that Alvechurch FC had been knocked out of the FA Cup, congratulations to all involved on a fantastic cup run this season.
