Over the past couple of weeks, we have seen thousands of young people throughout the constituency opening their GCSE, AS and A Level results. Congratulations to all students for their hard work and efforts over the past school year – well done! Thank you to all teachers, parents and staff at schools for helping students get through this stressful time – it all paid off!
Whether you’re off to another year of school, college or starting work or university, I’d like to wish you the very best of luck in this next step in your education and life. For those who didn’t get the results you quite wanted, remember that your teachers are there to support you and help you.
Along with our shining students, Bromsgrove has lots to be proud of. Firstly, congratulations to Geeves Dry Cleaners on Birmingham Road for making it to the finals of the national Dry Cleaner of the Year Awards! And secondly, congratulations to Alan and Lynn Nokes for being shortlisted for the National Garden Scheme Award!
Finally, I’d like to end by paying tribute to the people of Barcelona following the recent horrific attacks. Terrorism has no place in society, and it’s important that we stand united against evil.
