BROMSGROVE MP, Sajid Javid, has raised more than £6,000 for Primrose Hospice’s annual fundraising week.
Sajid, who is a patron of the hospice, completed the 10k race on Sunday, June 13 as part of ‘Yellow Week’.
He ran the course in 53 minutes and 41 seconds, beating his previous time of 59 minutes and 44 seconds.
Mr Javid said: "As a proud patron, I know first-hand the importance of the Primrose Hospice's work and the difference they make to people's lives locally.
“I am delighted to have raised over £6,000 this year and kick off their fundraising week. I am incredibly grateful to everyone who supported me and donated so generously.
“Yellow Week is a fantastic opportunity to interact with the hospice and learn more about the work they do.”
The race was Sajid's third 10k for the hospice taking his total funds raised to over £40,000 since 2020.
