After the success of the coronation, we will soon celebrate the King’s Birthday on June 10.
This promises to be another excellent occasion and I hope that readers of The Bromsgrove Standard will be able to enjoy the occasion with sunny weather.
Last week, I was delighted to announce that my Pensioners’ Fair will be returning on July 14.
This will be the fifth instalment of the fair, which is once again free for all attendees, and will take place at Parkside Hall between 10am and 12pm.
The event has always been a valuable source of information and entertainment for retirees from across Bromsgrove District, with more than 500 people attending in 2020.
If any organisations would like to attend or sponsor the fair, please email me.
More recently, I was delighted to support Dementia Action Week at a coffee morning arranged at Amphlett Hall. This is a cause I feel incredibly passionate about and will continue to support much-needed progress on.
I have also had productive meetings with Barnt Green Waters Ltd and the Campaign for Real Ale to discuss how I can continue to support businesses in these sectors in Bromsgrove district.
And I was pleased to present Hagley Primary School with a THRIVE School of Excellence Award for their fantastic work on student mental wellbeing.
As ever, if any of my constituents wish to reach out to me concerning any issues they are facing, please email me at sajid.javid.mp@parliament.uk.
