Sajid Javid’s fifth MP’s Pensioners’ Fair has been hailed as a great success, with hundreds attending the fair for a morning of free information and advice from a range of exhibitors at Parkside Hall and Library.
Local MP, Sajid Javid officially opened the event at 10:00am with retirees descending upon Parkside Hall from the get-go despite heavy downpours of rain.
A total of 48 exhibitors were on hand to provide free advice, information, and educational material to hundreds of local residents.
Exhibitors included financial and pension advisors, sports, leisure and social clubs, health and social care providers, charities, and legal experts - with sponsors including Hamberley Care Homes, Phoenix Group, CareForce, and Bromsgrove Golf Centre.
Reflecting on the success of last week’s event, Sajid Javid MP said:
“I am delighted that my fifth Bromsgrove MP’s Pensioners’ Fair was a great success – with a record turnout!
It was fantastic to see so many people attend, and as always it was an honour to help retirees and elderly constituents from across Bromsgrove District.
As ever, this years’ exhibitors offered a wealth of valuable advice to hundreds of elderly residents. I would like to thank all exhibitors, sponsors, and attendees for making the Pensioners’ Fair a resounding success once again.”
